Designer/story teller Tanya Caldwell began her connection to SCARAB with the purchase of her first pair of SCARAB moonstone earrings some twenty years ago. It was only in 2009 that she and Janine began their collaboration, the result of which was the first Johannesburg studio, now located in the glamorous Morningside Shopping centre. Tanya is passionate about people and beautiful jewels, and delights in carefully selecting significant gemstones, precious metal finishes, engraving and design elements, to best translate her clients' unique stories into bespoke fine jewellery pieces.
